Manage the financial reporting matters of the Group – accurate and timely reporting of financial results for onwards consolidation (monthly, quarterly and yearly) and support group financial reporting requirements.
Accountable for periodic preparation of consolidation financial statements and relevant disclosures and notes in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standard (“MFRS”).
Responsible for the preparation of periodic financial budget, cash flow forecast/ planning and management of the Group – provide timely recommendations with necessary analysis and reporting on cash utilization, cost, budget and revenue.
Working closely with internal stakeholders including finance personnel of subsidiaries, consultants, tax advisors and auditors.
Review intercompany balances, accounting reconciliation and balance sheet review.
Enhance existing consolidation and financial reporting related processes
Standardization of charts of accounts and group reporting package of the Group.
Participate as a key member in other ad-hoc financial projects/ tasks as assigned; proactive in all dealings to achieve team objectives.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance and/ or Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA and CPA etc.).
Minimum 6 years working experience with strong knowledge of consolidation and accounting standards, especially MFRS and tax and related issues
Knowledge and exposure to foreign currencies, transfer pricing and inter-company transaction.
Proficient in office suite (i.e. spreadsheet and word processing etc.) and familiar with accounting software.
Possess strong analytical skills, meticulous and good time management.
