Main responsibilities of a 3D Generalist I is to create computer graphic assets, 3D props, character and environment, completing work as required by CG supervisors, ensuring technical accuracy, delivering work on time, and executing VFX tasks such as texturing, modeling, lighting, rigging and compositing and animation.
Job Responsibilities:
Create assets for game /animation projects, work with the Lead Artists, Concepts artist, Designers, Riggers and Animators to balance quality and production performance
Model, UV and texture polygonal objects accurately from provided concept art keeping the appeal and the essence of the concept.
Maintain the style for different objects on the same project and ability to model in a variety of styles.
Follow art directions and technical requirements.
Contributes effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Is expected to continue to refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and / or in-house tools.
Works efficiently and effectively within technical constraints of a production while generating high-quality artwork that matches (or) exceeds studios standards.
Ability to visualize and conceive objects, characters or other elements in a way that contributes to the overall visual quality of the production
Communicates regularly with the Lead Artist regarding the status of current tasks; obtains Lead Artists guidance and approval as required to advance tasks, project initiatives and milestones.

A keen interest in design, architecture, films and games.
Have a vast imagination, ability to visualize and interpret ideas.
Skilled with Blender is Preferable
Proficient with the software packages and tools of the games industry.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team oriented environments.
Experience or base knowledge of scripting languages, shader materials and in-game asset management is a plus.
